Hey, im still here ! So I have the shotgun and red9. Sounds like I ought to get the rifle! THe new one or the old one though? This is my first time through on wii.
you can kill the Garrador just fine with a shotgun... i did mine with a regular, unupgraded shotgun- it takes about 7 or so hits.
What you do is what TortillaChips said, run back and forth next to a wall and the Slasher will run towards the wall and get his claw stuck on the wall. Then you get close and Blast him with a powerful weapon. The rifle isnt necessary to play until you get to the Regenerators... even the,n you can just blast their legs and skip them.
I never even bothered being the sucky rifle dont waste your money on it. I also did waste my money on the riotgun. Probally explans why im consitently over 100k in pesetas throughout the game.

buy the semi auto, i guess.
a good strategy of the game is Buy, Upgrade, Sell, Repeat.
an upgraded weapon sells for way more than one that's completely stock.

Am loving all the youtube stuff that has been posted, didn't know there was any Resi Evil stuff on there. Really loved the slut Ashely one, find her so annoying and quite often shoot her after I have saved just for the hell of it!!
