OK, I don't have time to read through 58 pages to see if this has been posted. Does anyone have any tips for beating the Salazar/Tentacle monster? I tried running to the right side of the platform and waiting, but Salazar never pops out of the shell unless you're in front of him. I get about 5 good shots, but it seems like it takes about 10 to take him down.
with hunk you get a shed load of amma for your tmp and when that runs out a well aimed grenade can get u loads of ammo back ....hunk rules . krouser was easiest for me

Go to to right to shoot the tentacle (I used the shotgun) until it recoils back, then run towards the center a little (you don't have to be at the exact center) to get a shot at Salazar with the magnum/rifle/rocket and repeat. The window of time between the tentacle recoiling and Salazar popping out is pretty short.
Well, I'm all done. I'm sure all of you are very proud and excited about my achievement. I want to thank all the little people that made this day possible.
Instead of just outfitting the handcannon full bore in a briefcase already loaded with the infinite rocket launcher and the Chi-Ty, I decided to proceed through another pro game with it and outfit it as I go.
As a result, I've gotten a little more familiar with the PRL 412. For those of you who haven't used that weapon a lot, let me tell you, you are really missing out. That thing rocks. It's more fun to use than any other weapon, in my opinion. You're constantly killing things you didn't even know were in the scene. Try it on some birds and you'll see what I mean.
OK, thanks for all the help on the Salazar/tentacle monster. Finally got past that last night. Lots of shots with the TMP and shooting at the eye really helped.
