You know what would be a great secret weapon a kantana, that would be to much fun. The one in Dead Rising is so much fun!

The RL does take up a bunch of room ,but right before the battle with the little napoleon fellow , theres a merchant right outside so you are only keeping for about thirty seconds before you use it, and then you get all of the inventory room back, so its not that bad. I've beaten this boss many times using guns and RLs and I can easily tell you will come out better if you just bite the bullet and spend the 30000 on a RL. This guy takes a ton of ammo to beat and he will also usually hit you a few times (at least) causing you to burn through precious green herbs and First aid sprays.
Also for all you noobies out there, when upgarding the capacity of any firearm make sure you have an empty clip when doing so , since it refills your clip when you upgrade the capacity you might as well upgrade it when your weapon has 0 rounds left in the clip (no point in paying for ammo when you already have some left in your clip, right) This way you'll find yourself with way more ammo (espeacially when its hard to comeby ammo like shotgun shells and magnum rounds) Once I figured this stategy out I had way more ammo.

@charch- thats because ur carry to much weapons, don't worry though, u'll find them.

@chip-get those two and the scope always get the scope and when u get the riot gun upgrade a little because a little later u get another shotgun called striker it shoots faster

I only carry the shotgun and red9 though...

and wiiturd a real player never use a rocket luancher unless it was free.

I never get to use my shot gun cause ill only have like 9 shells so I use it when I am being overwhelmed as a desperation attack, like when the chainsaw bitch is too close..

wario2ooo- If you'd read my post correctly you'll notice I said I've beaten that boss many times using guns and RLs , as in I've done it a bunch with both methods, so how am I not a "real" re4 player if I've beaten it many times not using a RL. All I'm saying is that this boss takes butloads of ammo to beat and you'll prolly end up using a bit of your health, so you then start the next chapter with not much ammo and health, Or you could spend 30000 and have all you health and ammo. Its a no brainer to me , as long as you get all the treasures and money people drop 30000 is nothing, its a simple trade off . Please don't insult me again, I was just trying to be helpful to those who havent played this game much.

me too, i played it some many times without RL'S and i have strategys to beat each and every boss and charch thats y u should carry at least 3 weapons and i think its because u use the red9 soo much that the game is mostly giving u pistol bullets instead of shotgun get a tmp or a sniper, sniper is good for chainsaw dude a few shots and his is dean
