Wario I need help, this game is so freaking hard.
I just realized that saving ammo is a big part of this game [I was wondering around shooting bird for loot] so now I have no ammo and its like impossible to beat the mission with just the knife because theres like 4325239058724 guys and its really hard and yeah.

Man...it's not that hard 
Well you could be a man and go commando on those ganados or you could restart the game. Your best chance for this segment of the game is try go into a corner in a room so whenever a ganados comes you know where he is and what he is doing and will be easy to dispose of.
For real help go to youtube; search for Resident Evil (wii) chapter 1-1 or something like that, a guy has set up a video walkthrough.

going to a corner is a good idea, but I just made it to the first village and there is seriously like 25 people.
+ Am I supposed to be going for headshots or...? Its taking me a while to dispose of a single guy.
++Its damn hard getting used to these controls after playing Metroid, I hate them!

Haha, you'll grow to them.
Yes, when going for the kill aim for head, try for forehead area if you have precise aiming. if you are trying to run away go for knee cap shots or shin shots. For this part of the game, run straight into the village get into a house and into a room that's cornered off so there is only one way through, and stay aimed at that area, because it is closed off around you it is safe and you have the only entrance covered.

Depends on where they hit, chance, power of weapon etc.

This game is so hard!
I am taking it head-on in about an hour for the whole night (friend is sleeping over so we'll be up late) although I may check in for some help. Hopefully I will get past the first level
