its good... can be really fun at times... but can also be extremely frustrating. They have alot of cheap moves that's piss me the hell off.

Rarely.

When you are first connected to another opponent it shows the connection quality (1 to 5 stars) and gives you the chance to cancel the match. I've played many 4 and 5 star matches and only had lagging one time and I think that may have just been something temporary because it didn't last the whole match.
