NFS: Carbon secret races

Hey everyone. I know that NFS: Carbon can be called an old game by now but I just got back into my Wii and I just started playing it again. Does anyone know how to unlock the secret races?

I remember reading somewhere that there were secret races, so please correct me if I'm wrong.
