I'm about to lose my mind with Madden 2008. At first, I had no problems. Online worked fine, the controls took a little getting used to (snap & throw issue), but nothing major. Then the wheel came off!

Issue 1: Out of Focus! You know how occasionally when you break the huddle the game goes into that speacial "TV like" view and it says "Press A" to continue? Well, after I press a and return to the normal view, everything is out of focus and it continues to be out of focus until I get to the play calling screen. Seriously, it's like I lost my contacts. And it's not an equipment issue, I have a 50in HD plasma and component cables.

Issue 2: What teams are playing? Occasionally, it will display the current game stats for teams that are not in the game. Example, I was playing the 49ers against the Seahawks and it flashed stats with a Chicago Bears logo!

Issue 3: I'm frozen! My game likes to freeze right when I am trying to save a franchise game after I finished. Hello... where's auto save? Autosave seems to work fine when you simulate a game.

Issue 4: Tech support, you're an idiot! They suggested that I make sure the disc is facing the correct direction "Ensure that the game disk is properly inserted. The game disk should be inserted with the label side of the disk facing to your right, if the Wii is in the standing position. The console can still "accept" the insertion of an upside down disk, but will give an "Unreadable Disk" error when you try to access the game itself."


GUUUUHHHH!!!!!!!!

Issue 1: It's supposed to be blurry on 3rd down situations...just the way they made it...don't know why.
Issue 2:...never happened to me...but of course i cant connect to players.
Issue 3: never freezes for me...theres an autosave at the very first screen of madden...it asks u if u want autosave turned on or off...turn it on.
Issue 4:Why is this one an issue if you already know whats wrong.?

Maybe ur wii freezes and does this stuff because u watch too much porno on it?

Strange, I have never faced any of these problems. There is no blurr on third down btw. The only problem I have seen is that it lags a lot when playing online.

when ur playing 1 player it sometimes gets blurry on 3rd or 4th down...from what i have seen

Haven't tried online, so I couldn't help you with that.
But I have had that blur issue, even the reviews for madden say thats a problem, so everyone has that.
I have not had the other issues though, and I am quite enjoying the game.
Hope you get it sorted out and enjoy it like I am.

As far as the blurry issue does I had that happen to me one time. I found that if I didn't hit A then the screen didn't get blurry. That's worked for me so far.
