what is a good racing game thats not for the virtual console cause i need a good racing game.and it CAN NOT be mariokart.Also should i get Godfather ?

Gotta figure that's how all these games sell, differing opinions. As for the Mario Shrooms comment....I think the reason SSBB sold so well because of all the hype and load of characters in it. Worse than Mario Kart selling "because it had Mario" in it. SSBB sold because it had even more classic characters in it, not because it's actually a solid game.
FYI - Not meaning to bash you or your opinion, just making sure all viewpoints are seen since you bashed a game that many love. There are lovers and haters of every game.

SSBB sold well because it's a great game aswell as lots of characters. SSBB is my second favourite all time game and you have really wound me up big time!

He's entitled to voice his own opinion, just as you are, don't criticize him for it. Personally I do find Brawl better than Mario Kart, but there are many others that feel the very opposite. Mario Kart seems to engage the more casual gaming audience, while it seems that Brawl is more for the die hard of the Nintendo Franchise.

I can't say whether that's correct in general, but that's the case with me. I'm a die hard Xbox 360 guy, and a casual Nintendo fan.

How much I like Xbox has nothing to do with my opinions on the Wii. My opinion of the Wii is the only thing that affects my opinion of the Wii.

I couldn't agree more. I won't lie, I do make fun of all the video game systems including the ones I own and don't own, but all in all you shouldn't base off of arguing with someone simply because they find something enjoyable.

SoraBrawl i'm right behind you when you say SSBB is one of the best games out there and I am not a fan of the 360 myself. Kamikaze, all Sora was saying is that their differeing views might have caused the dissagreements, not that they were the disagreement.

I'm neither a fan of Microsoft , but you shouldn't base judgment of other's opinions simply because of what games or systems they prefer.

A lot of people seem to really love that game, but I just don't see why. It seems so stupid and lame. You tap/drag little circles around to the beat of a song, I just don't understand how that is anything near fun. I don't even find the tracklist to be that great, except for the Sum 41 song (The Hell Song I think?) and Jumpin' Jack Flash is alright. But I dunno, everyone else seems to disagree with me and love playing it.
