As you all already might know this is a video of the scarecrow trick in links crossbow training. You can do this on a couple of the target shooting areas. This one was done on 3-1. The trick is shooting the first scarecrow 8 times in the chest and then blowing up his head and doing that to the next scarecrow you see which takes you to another area with much better targets.

There are also the thing about hitting certain pots in order to get the Gold Coin to shoot. And then there's the trick of having a certain score to go to a different area for target practice, which gives you more points.
Basically, after you get a handle on hitting the targets, just try shooting everything else and see what happens. Just don't shoot the chickens.

LoganSix, you get a different stage 3 if you do the scare crow trick on stage 1 and stage 2
the biggest factor is accuracy... if you operate it like a machine gun you'll score low... if you shoot and never miss once, you'll get a platinum medal (there's also bronze, silver, and gold

What you call "stage" is between whistle blows?
So, yes, if you hit the scare crow and don't miss, you get to different stages in some of the shooting areas.
In the "Shoot Out", there are tricks like, shooting the big barrels to blow up and kill to of those goblin things at a time. Also, the goblin thing down the right alley is hidden behind the barrels, if you shoot the left barrel, you kill him and get the gold coin to shoot.
Like I said, after you complete the stage a couple of times during practice, go back through and shoot everything and see what else you can get.

I found a different "stage" 3 on 1-1. It was pretty neat.
