Umbrella Chronicles how to Co Op Play?

I Have Umbreller chronicles but cant find the coop play option, do i have to get to level 4 to enable this or is it available from the start, if it is I cant find the setup.

PLease help its driving me mad

If I remember right, it's been awhile since I played it, there are two character pictures that you can choose from. You pick one and your partner can pick the other.

I think it's one of the best shooters out there. I was disappointed with House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return. Ghost Squad was short but okay. I don't regret my purchase of Umbrella Chronicles at all.

this is my problem, when i try to use the other controller nothing happens this is why im confused how do i match the controller in this game, in WII sports you just press 1 & 2 together and it loads up on UC all 4 lights just flash...what am i doing wrong

Giving this a bump since I can not figure out how to co op play either.

There is no second remote visible and there is no option to add one when i play this game.

How can i activate the second remote?

I haven't played it in a while, but there are some missions that are one player only. You need to select the missions with the two player portraits.

And if you see the second portrait, but cannot select two people, then it has to something else, because that's the only restriction I can think of that would be holding you back from playing co-op.

Hmm, I am now about to start the 3d chapter...

In the first two chapters i can select a person from one of two portraits but there is no way to select the other one...

I mean: the second remote doesn't seem to become activated...

Should this remote be activated anywhere or should the character select screen just show 3 portraits? (like one player, other solo player and a dual portrait?)

i never had any of these 2 player problems i always remembered the other remote being there right when the game booted up.....

I think co-op is almost the only way to play this damn game as it is extremely difficult at some points alone especially when you have to push that monster into the light only by hitting him in the face. i beat it with my buddy ,but have yet to do it myself.

Problem solved:

I had to sync both remotes with my console and then they both boot up perfectly. The thing is RE:TUC was my first game other then Wii sports and play and they allow the temp adding so i always had just one remote synced

Co-op mode is nice but it's madness when you need to do an action move... you only get a split second and if you or your buddy are too late to react you're both screwed :|
