Guitar Hero Question

I haven't been playing my chipped Wii (Japanese) lately, so the latest update I got is probably like 2.2 or something. Is it safe to stick in the Guitar Hero (US) game disk just like that?

id have to say that it wouldnt affect it, but i wouldnt try it cuz ya never know what will happen with those updates and whatnot, and of course ya wouldnt wanna pay an extra 70 bucks to get it "fixed"
