I suspected this was fake just from a technical standpoint.
The code on a Wii disc is read-only. To support downloadable content, it would've had to have been developed from day 1 with this "Wii Want More" service in-mind and support already coded and enabled on the disc. They can't "patch" discs after the fact. Games like Twilight Princess that have been out for ages? Not bloody likely.

Yeah obviously this is an early April Fools joke. If Nintendo did do DLC for disk games it would come as part of pay and play. Id say thats a definite.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. TP wouldnt have been made compatible. Not to mention its not like nintendo to add DLC to something like Zelda.

And since when does Nintendo ever announce prices of things in actual dollars? Don't they always say how many Points it will cost to download?
