I like it. The online play is fun, and there are rankings, as well as several different modes. The campaign is fairly short, maybe about 7 hours long. If you're into online play and war games, you'll probably like it.

It's $24.54 NEW at amazon now. For that price, it's worth it, but for anything over that, it is definitely not worth it. It's got a really short and shallow campaign mode, the strategy in the game is of a rock-paper-scissors variety where there is one counter for each unit, etc. Online play is mediocre at best, there is little lag, but a lof of the people online either aren't willing to play with you in co-op unless you are pro, the versus mode gets boring quick, and friend codes are a hassle, especially since you probably don't know many friends that have the game. :P The graphics look pretty nice though, and gameplay is smooth. It's one of the games I have that I occasionally play once every month or so... for me, it's like a minigame that I play in between playing big games.

The online game is good only spoilt be cheating idiots who disconnect if they are losing. These people really are as sad excuse for human beings.

Was looking to buy a game at the weekend and the shop owner in the game shop was raving about BW2. He said it was a bit like playing chess but in command & conquer style.

You can play with strangers. It actually shows their name too.

I just played BW2 online and after the first few minutes of an assault game I could not score any hits. I was hitting target again and again and nothing. I could not even tell my grunts to capture the flag.

Anyone else had this?
