There are some games i think that would be great for WiiWare some are Nintendo games some aren't heres my thoughts

Drill Dozer (remake ,or sequel face it not many got to play the original)
New Super Mario Bros (remake ,or sequel)
Metroid Prime Hunters 2 (Online only Wii sequel added with the other hunters could be Dark Samus ,and some of the characters from Corruption)
Legend of Zelda Four Swords Online ( Beef up the gamecube versions graphics a bit ,and make it online maybe with some DS connectivity)
New Duck Hunt

Super Mario Land
Metroid 2
Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening
(Gameboy Wiimakes) I rather them remake the classic gameboy games rather than making a VC channel for them.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night (or even that recent PSP version on WiiWare)
Ultimate Ghouls n' Ghost
Castle Crashers
Alien Homnid (i know its on cube ,but the Wii version could be similar to the XBLA version)
Crazy Taxi
Rez (could utlize only the Wiimote movement based on wiimote ,and shooting handled by the A or B button)
Contra 4 ( i think its just a little too much to keep it only on a handheld)

Remaking gamecube and ds games will take a lot of memory. Sorry to say that it wont happen. I like the idea of remaking some of the older games.

look at games like FFCC My Life As King ,and Lost Winds they are gamecube quality ,and they are on the WiiWare.

Pac n' Roll (yes i know it's on Namco Remix ,but it's a shame you have to buy the collection just to get this game especially when it is gimped by missing the actual story.)
Kirby's Tilt & Tumble (they could just finish the one they made for gamecube that never was released ...look it up on youtube)

They are not gamecube quality. Gamecube games went upto 4.5gb, the wii's flash memory is nowhere near that. Even with compressions you couldnt make a gamecube game downloadable for the wii. My life as a king looks nice but its not gamecube quality.

Yeah 3d takes a lot of money and programming so why not release a lot of 2d games that are true sequels with 2d game play. I mean street fighter4 could end up being the game that makes the Wii a great system simply because people want it in 2d and every one hates the 3d version right now. I'm not sure if capcom is still a 2d power house but they should really think about that. They could have made their tride zaki and wiki by now!

Remake the original Final Fantasys. I really got into FF XII so now I want to play the rest.

By the way, do they have some of the originals on the Wii Shop?

i'd love it if they re-released some of the old pokemon games (ie red, blue, yellow, silver, gold), but with the added feature of battling and trading online and perhaps a few touch-ups in terms of graphics along with some bonus items.

that wouldn't be too much to ask for, would it?

I would love a remake of gold and silver, but we are talking wiiware here and the game has to have some sort of motion control. Now where would that come in?

Says who? There is no motion control needed in the games. Crystal Chronicles doesn't use motion controls. You can even use a gamecube or classic controller.

I'm pretty sure it does. I could be wrong though. I'm pretty sure you use tools to build houses and such.

a game doesn't have to use motion control not even all retail games use motion control....example being Fire Emblem ,and the Japan Only Devil Kings 2.

I don't want to see any more games based on Nintendo franchises.

I want to see new, exciting games by independent developers.

I'm not exactly sure if i want to agree with you or not. All old nintendo games are sweet!!!and so are new ones, but with new developers video games may have different feel compared to super mario galaxy or twilight princess for example. if "they" can come up with new games that are fun, like nintendo's, then i have to agree. I'd hate to see nintendo games go down, but I'd hate to only see nintendo games on the shelves.
