Problem with Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2
After playing story more for a while I realized that in multiplayer, I can't pick which costume to use for Goku making me unable to use him in multiplayer, anyone have similiar problems?

i havnt got budokai 2 but i have budokai tenkaichi one and you just go to the player you want (goku) and then for player 2 go to goku again and when you start fighting yyou should be wearing different clothes. I'm not sure its the same for 2 though but thats how it was for budokai 1

I have the same problem... I have no idea what's wrong. 
EDIT: Problem solved. Just scroll off the screen and hit 'A'.

Perhaps you need to unlock him first in story mode first? aka beat the game?

I have that problem too. It actually has something to do with story mode. Im on the trunks saga, and currently goku is considered "dead", so thats why he may be unable to be selected...Even though all the other Z-fighters are too though...not too sure, just a guess..
