Hi WildeJedi, I'll be available to play anytime between 8 and 11.
How are you guys getting on with the lag? I've only played two games so far, they were both against Idok and the lag was terrible. He was set to two stars on the transmission level and I was set to one. Have you guys determined what it's best to play on yet?
BTW...
If anyone is unable to change the transmission level, you have to go to WII SETTINGS, then SCREEN, then TV TYPE and change to 60Hz.
Apparently 50Hz is european frame rate and 60Hz is american, however most remotely modern european TVs can work at both frequencies. Apparently 60Hz has more lines on the screen, this may account for the smoother gameplay because I have found that when both players are set to one star there seems to be less lag.

Can people please post what transmission level they are playing on.
Gavin, I quit our game before we started because a warning message came up on my screen to say that we are on different transmission levels, this can seriously **** up the gameplay as Idok and myself have already discovered.
We need to standardise it so we are all on the same star setting.

On the Nintendo WFC screen go to NINTENDO WFC OPTIONS. Transmission level is at the bottom of the screen, it will probably be on 2 stars.
If you can't change it to 1 star then you have to change the wii settings.
Go to WII SETTINGS, then SCREEN, then TV TYPE and change it to 60Hz (480i).

cudnt connect to wifi last night after footie, dunno why, mario kart connected ok but PES wudnt connect. it was ok before the footie.
