CAN NINTENDO JUST **** OFF FOR ONCE AND GET THEIR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT!?
I'm sick of them trying to ruin if for us. They're not losing anything by it so why not just back off! And start getting your online and all that other crap straightened out first before you screw everyone around. If they put this into a regular update, I'm personally flying to Japan and smashing Iwata in his big flat face.
I know this may only be a one of but if it's not and it goes further than this, it just shows that they don't care.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

Wait in line like the rest and buy it in your own region.
What you said can be understood for Mario Kart however there are some games were you have to wait for much longer for it to be released. Plus did you ever think that people just want the game in a different language? It might not apply to this game but I have an Asian friend who only buys imports from Japan.

Oh please. You people have no ****ing lives. WAH I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER MONTH FOR A GAME TO RELEASE IN THE US BUT I HAVE NO SOCIAL LIFE I DON'T HAVE TIME TO WAIT, I MUST GET IMPORTS WHICH BY THE WAY ARE TOTALLY ILLEGAL.
*Nintendo blocks it*
WHY WOULD YOU STOP US FROM DOING SOMETHING THAT'S AGAINST THE LAW THAT'S SO UNFAIR I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO GO AROUND KILLING AND STEALING AND IF COPS STOP ME THAT ISN'T FAIR WAH

"All it takes is OPTIONS, Nintendo. If a gamer doesn't want to see that they're ranked 80,000th, then give them the option to simply turn off rankings. If a gamer doesn't want to use voice chat, then they won't buy the headset in the first place (but you'd make MONEY off the people who do!). " - bevardimusg

Wow...You're so smart, seeing as I'm not in the US! AND since when was it illegal? Also, that last bit of your post is just
Get out of caps!

Guys, guys, there's no need to worry or argue. I can confirm the game DOES NOT BREAK THE FREELOADER. I've tested it myself, and for further proof some guy on Youtube made a video to show it works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2chj8BjxTg&

Ah. I agree with you, Nintendo are being petty acting against imports. They still get their money, so you think everyone wins? Nah, because importing means they can't enforce price discrimination on us. I've already committed the "sin" of playing Brawl before Nintendo have deemed us PAL users worthy of being allowed to play it, and I can't see why we should have to wait years longer. There's not much to translate, and it can't be that hard to switch to 50 Hz.
@Bob4: Importing is not illegal. It's called global trade. In fact in some countries, such as Australia and Japan, it is against the law to try to restrict importing (not that such a silly thing as the law would stop Nintendo doing it).

Your region has nothing to do with the purpose of my argument. Finding meaningless flaws in something doesn't make it frivolous, and it doesn't strengthen your argument.
For a game to be released in a region, it has to pass certain standards. Ex: A lot of games are banned from the UK, and people whom own those games can be convicted for federal offenses. If you own a game before you have clearance to own it, i.e. it officially releases in your region, you're breaking the law.
The purpose of my post was that it's ridiculous you're all getting mad because Nintendo wised up and is blocking off illegal activity. I just did it in a manner that's about as intelligent and high-brow as you're all being.

I seriously doubt that is the case in the US, but if it is thank God I live in the UK
where we have the freedom to import the games we want.
There is no such law here importing any game for your own use is perfectly legal . Such a law would be like living in China where the government are worried about cultural contamination i.e. you might get ideas like thinking for yourself.

But it's not illegal. If it was, the likes of Play Asia would have been shut down long ago. Heck, my Paypal account clearly shows money being paid to an import video games shop- you don't think Paypal would have reported me for illegal activities?
Check your facts, importing is completely legal and within your rights. If Nintendo said otherwise anywhere, they're lying.

I never said it did strengthen my argument. But you clearly stated a MONTH in the US, I'm only pointing out what you said. What's an argument if you're not able to do that?

Actually, we're kinda the same as Europeans, except they're not shunned off of their online capabilities for games...
And no, why should we wait, everyone else is impatient about EVERYTHING ELSE!!! OMG ****ING PROGRAM LOAD UP! Geez this message didn't send straight away, why should I wait 5 seconds?! It's who we are to find quicker ways of doing things. And many games NEVER come out in our regions so we're gonna be waiting a preetty long time.
But what really gets me about this is that Nintendo need to get their priorities straight, there's losts of other things that can be improved about the wii but they go ahead and try to block the freeloader...why? They're still making money off it.
Are you a highschool dropout ?
SOME GAMES NEVER GET RELEASED IN REGIONS (MLB Power Pro's for example, in USA, not in EU.)
