Freeloader program broken by Mario Kart
It looks like the Freeloader program (designed to let you play Wii games from other regions) is defeated by Mario Kart.

CAN NINTENDO JUST **** OFF FOR ONCE AND GET THEIR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT!?
I'm sick of them trying to ruin if for us. They're not losing anything by it so why not just back off! And start getting your online and all that other crap straightened out first before you screw everyone around. If they put this into a regular update, I'm personally flying to Japan and smashing Iwata in his big flat face.
I know this may only be a one of but if it's not and it goes further than this, it just shows that they don't care.

It looks like Mario Kart Wii works on the Freeloader after all (as long as the firmware is current)

Go piss off and have a chardonnay, it's easier for you to say. Australia's been ditched too many times to just take it and leave it. PES 08, no online. MOHH2 again no online. Other games will never even reach here.

I would just be getting japan only games if i would be importing them other than that i would just wait for any other game to come out in my region.

the dude that said wait and buy it in ur own region is absolutely right. stop bitching! Shit. Australia isn't getting "screwed" at all - we are getting plenty of releases at similar times to overseas - sometimes it takes a little while longer but its nothing like it used to be.

why do some people wanna play imported wii games? this makes no sense, just wait until the game comess in your region thats all then problem solved, we all are in a rush to get our hand on the games. Just wait until the games comes in your region.

Pfft, screw that if theres a quicker way and it works i do it. Like brawl Importing it from the US of A and should be here in 2 weeks with freeloader and all....and its cheaper too.

I've never felt the urge to buy an import, but say you were a huge fan of Brawl, in the UK we're having to wait a quarter of a year after the US got it - there can't be any language specific hold-ups, so why the delay?
And it's £8 cheaper!
