this is it, to some newcomers, this is new. I want you to talk about any rumors this game might have. Don't be shy, let your opinions be heard.

one rumor is that the town will be two times bigger with 32 residents and skate parks, soccer feilds, movie theaters and more... If you come up with a good enough and plausible rumor then I will post it here (1st post).

It'll be online, of course. Depending on how much they put in the game, the Wi-fi could be "alright" or "outstanding". I assume at the very least that it will have everything Wild World has.

So if my friend has it can I invite them over and play with them at the same time? Or are we just going to send gifts and messages? I've never connected my DS to the internet btw, so you'll have to bear with me.

Animal Crossing is going to be sweet no doubt, but I think its a little early for an "Official" thread.

But what I would like to see is the ability to have someone live in your town (like a friend) when they visit, at least be able to buy a home in your town. I hated having those empty houses go to waste.

Also this game is going to be using a lot of WiiConnect24 which is shown in one of the manuals with your Wii, it shows a message from Tom Nook talking about a Flea Market in town and tells you to collect junk from your neighbours.

Hopefully the online is good, and one rumor could be that Voice Chat will launch with this game.

That would be a great strategy on Nintendo's part. I could understand why Nintendo was hesitant to release a headset for Brawl (trash-talking), but for Animal Crossing, it's a must.

Lol I just watched some "to catch a predator" on youtube, I've not seen that show until today. With Online and Voice Chat, can you picture Chris Hanson as an animal crossing guy? "Wait, sit down, push A, so what were you doing at 12 year old's house? This cat looks pretty young to me." lol. Anyways I'm just wondering if Nintendo will Piss their pants if they release a voice chat. I mean their so prudent with their friend codes.

There just hasn't been a lot of info on it. I'd be more than happy if they didn't release ANYTHING before it released, so it was a total surprise, but Nintendo is the biggest leaker...
