I thought they got rid of snaking in MKW...

Come on, I just explained how why there's no point in worrying about snaking. I've never seen it happen once and there'd be no point anyway ... it's hard to do and not many straights to pull it off ... it just won't happen that often, if at all.
Does anyone know whether the new UK model Wii remote will fit inside the Wiieel?
Edit: Oh wait, it's removable

In order to get the full boost out of drifting, you need to wait 4 or 5 seconds. There's no way you can "cheat" by snaking.

I am confident now of there being no snaking. Because the only thing i remember about MK64 was that every time i went to my cousins house play it he would flog the living s**t out of me because he would just snake the whole course..

Yeah man, don't worry about it. As the previous post mentioned it takes ages to get a proper boost so they've kinda nerfed it a bit, as well as it being much harder .. repeating myself

Really? I've seen people pull of boosts really fast in videos. . . but maybe that was offline.
To be honest I'm going to try to snake when I get the game, for the time trials.
I won't attempt to snake in online matches if no one else does though, that would be asshole-ish.
only 11 days, 8 hours, 8 minutes and 5 seconds 'til it's released in the U.S. . . .

The only reason you saw people pull out of fast boosts was because they were very likely turning around a sharp corner. The sharper the turn, the faster you get the orange boost. Let's face it, on a straight to get an orange boost is almost impossible without it being beneficial, so you can try if you want to, but I doubt it'd do much good. Especially online in a hectic battle
How long before American sales release of this game? I can't wait
