I got this game just today .. and it is so fun online. It's excellent. So much fun ... the gameplay is so hectic with up to 12 people in one race, managing flips up ramps and other terrain which gives you air and when you land get a turbo boost (different karts have different turbo boost stats ) ... wheelies for bikes are an excellent feature ... and it's just so much fun ... I've struggled to find a game I really enjoy for ages now, and this is great. Also you get ranking points (of which I heard some people complaining there wouldn't be any sort of ranking system) which adds an element of competition ... and I love the fact that 2 players online as well as Battle mode.
Licence Settings
Here you get all your statistics for your games .. go to rankings and you get an Overall Rank .. distance travelled and the percentage use of the Wii Wheel .. for those of you who are sneaking on a GC controller
Not forgetting in game you're able to download the Mario Kart channel which allows you to see Worldwide time rankings .. comparings yours against others..
I'm not trying to spoil anything here, I'm trying to get everyone to seriously look forward to this
I highly recommend this game ... get your mates round too... and more Wiieels..

I've heard it's not all that good. Edge only gave it a 6. I may get it, but I'll wait and see.
Plus I'm waiting for concrete details on whether it affects the Freeloader or not.
Hmm .. I find many games not entertaining .. and I mean most games out there .. even some 'great' Nintendo games out there do nothing for me. But this one I have to say is good. I think they only played the single player to be honest .. not able to go online when the game was being reviewed .. which the single player in all honesty is quite annoying on 50cc (haven't gone any higher yet). But online ... it's something else. Get mates .. and go online.
I think the single player is to warm you up for what's really to come online
