Well you could argue its the end. Prime was a trilogy, Phaaze is gone, but storyline continues. Read below at your own peril:



Does it go further on a Hypermode 100% finish? Ill find out eventually. But to hooked on Brawl for now. I dont know if the new series will be as good. Phazon was to perfect (corruption, mutation, and hypermode wouldn't exist without it)

Metroid isn't done but Prime is.

I can wait a good amount of time till more Metroid arrives, as there is still tons of things out there that should come out first. (Starfox, F-Zero etc.)

Yes, that may lead onto the next story ark. They might do the FPS role again or they might return to the traditional side scrolling.

A 3d side-scrolling (think SSBB) Metroid could be really, really fun.

As for the control scheme, I envision moving with the analog stick, but aiming with IR, kinda like the old computer game Abuse, if anyone has played that.

the only way i'd consider buying another metroid title is if it took a step in an online fps direction.

metroid prime 3 was...dull, to put it lightly.

Well considering that Nintendo has this fancy to make Samus dress skimpier and skimpier with every new game she is featured in, I have a feeling the next Metroid game will be: Metroid Porn I.

I would love to see a third person Metroid with multiplayer. Its never going to happen though 8 (.

If they are going to return to a 2D/sidescrolling type game, I would rather see that on the DS.

I think for the next console Metroid game, they are going to have to try something new. The Prime trilogy is finished, it ran its course. Maybe the next one could be more online-multiplayer focused.

I've also thought an actual Zero Suit Samus game could be cool. They've established her whip and things like that in Brawl, so I think you could center a game around that as well.

The Brawl 3D side-scrolling might work actually.

Aiming is IR, Movment is Nunchuk, Melee attacks are flicking the Wiimote, A Button is Arm Cannon, and the B is Missles (and more then just swinging, like in MP3), Z+Flick Wiimote is for Grappling (Enemies, Obstructions and Grapple Swings). C is morph ball, D-Pad Left to change Beams and Right to change Missles. Up makes you jump. And - for visor modes. 1 for menu, 2 for help.

If you ask how you'd use visor modes, the screen colour and effects change. E.G, in a dark hallway you could use thermal visor and the screen would be red and all the heat sources would glow blue. And cant forget the scan visor!

And another exciting twist, you can change suit modes with the - Button. Go from Varia Suit to Zero Suit! The very suit isn't just for pixel porn, but lets you dodge attacks and move faster, but your much weaker.

And also, another twist, if you Grapple enemies, you can chuck them at others or smash them against walls, or throw them down bottomless pits!

And a GOOD multiplayer, not like Echoes. Perhaps Split Screen Team-Brawl style where you play as a Marine or a Space Pirate. Good Online too. And great graphics of course. And awesome cut scenes aswell.

I'd like to see a draker metroid keep the Prime gameplay mechanics but with a focus more of Samus's background i.e how she became a bounty hunter etc,

I want elements of isolation and intense fear of exploring unknown eerie planets.
