Is there another MOH or online FPS on the horizon?
EA really nailed it when it came to online options on the Wii with MOH: H2. But it feels very incomplete for me, and they sacrificed so much just so the game could run at 60 FPS  . Also, there's barely any particle effects (blood, specifically) and players take a thousand shots to go down, and I just can't stand that.
What's amazing is that EA showed the Wii has amazing potential with online shooters, anyet there are NONE out there. Ubi said they'd make another red steel, but unless they make the controls as good as MOH:H2 (from what I saw on the single-player), it won't work.

Really? Well, MOH:H2 was a one-year effort (which is amazing being that there's far crappier wii games out there with 2+ years of development). Maybe it'll be a per-year thing, like with their sports games. Hopefully we'll see a trailer or something for a new game at the next gaming event.

I believe that redsteel 2 has potential. I hope moh:h is not a per year thing. If it was chances are theu would shutdown the online for the older versions early.

So basically a sequel to one of the worst Wii games, 2 WWII games (AHHHHH!!! When will they learn!!!!), and perhaps a Timesplitters game sometime in the next 5 years.

Anybody have info on COD5? I heard its going back to WW2
Modern Warfare was awesome (Okay ive never played it myself but reviews speak for themselves). Hopefully Modern or Future.
Or perhaps it should be set in the Vietnam war. Shooting down MiG 15's with Sabres would be fun!

I think a third-person shooter similar to Gears of War could be fantastic on Wii as well. This would allow the player to move and turn with the analog stick, but still have a lot of freedom with IR aiming, similar to how it was done in Resident Evil 4.
But yeah, we need FPSes. A lot of them. Please.

Not only is it going back to WWII, but the developers of the Award winning COD games (COD2/COD4) Infinity Ward is not making COD5. Instead Treyarch, the developers of the shitty COD3 game is making COD5.
Im not sure if COD5 will have online this time for Wii because I don't think Activision will run their own servers and I don't think there's many games outside of Nintendo with online.
There's also Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, but Wiifanboy.com says the game looks ugly by the trailer. They say the PS2 port of the Xbox/PC game was ugly and the Wii looks like a bad PS2 port, so thats not sounding good.

i've already settled for the mediocre gameplay of mohh2 for nearly half a year...when will we see a REAL title for us fps fans?
i bought a wii for its motion control, meaning its astounding potential for innovative and fluid fps titles, not a batch of half-assed games.
