Yeh, it's not THAT bad...Although it was different on the DS because you could look at the bottom screen.

At first it bothered me, but all you do is take your focus off the ink as you can still see the track in front of you. Sometimes you can't see all the other players but that's it.

I had a feeling when reading the title it'd be the ink one. Yeah that's not too bad, if you're playing against the computer it's very useful as it really slows them down.

Personally, I don't enjoy being flattened at all.

I don't like that Power up box thing that makes everyone just spin and lose control. Very simple it just irritates me.

BLUE shells!!!!! unaviodable and you know when there coming which makes it worse, than the thunder and it just happens to you plus there more frequent, so there the most annoying tbh.
the ink is easy to get past, just depends which map tbh.

On Koopa Cape I was hit by a blue shell at the end corner and had one hell of a lead, and then came a mighty Pow thing a slid me into the waterfall and yep, off the edge. 5th.

not in any other mario kart game. blue shells are just.........ugggh.
i did however dodge one on mkdd on dk mountain . at the top of the first hill i got into the dk barrel launchey thingy at the perfect time. Just as the blue shell was doing its down stroke in to my head (I make it sound elegant, pffft) I got shot out of the barrel and I was saved.

Or you can let the person behind you overtake you if you're quick enough and if they're close enough.

Doesn't work. It targets the player in 1st at the time of launch.
I remember being knocked down to 5th, then to my surprise a blue shell came and clouted me one. I was royally peeved.
The best thing to do is drop speed so that the blast stops the guy/gal in 2nd and 3rd as well.
