Will there be other games released that will use the wiifit balance board?

Yes, it has be confirmed that they'll be realising more games. The main one I heard about was a decent ski-ing game. Not sure of release dates though.

I guessed they would release a ski-ing/snowboarding game. I can't think of what other kinds of games would be good with the balance board, though?

I would imagine some good shooting or boxing games, where the weight shifting can move your character and the wiimote/nunchuck are just for hand motions, weapons, etc. Maybe even a motorcycle game where you steer partially by leaning? Plus lots of fitness programs. The ability to monitor progress is pretty cool, and the game aspect makes working out more painless.

A skiiing game is on the way (Wii Ski) and I am sure we can see a skateboarding game at one point as well.

If they could incorporate the board into a shooter that would be sweet.
