It was, Call Of Duty 5 is coming to Wii, but it won't be like 4 so people shouldn't get too excited. People are already downplaying how the visuals will be on the Wii version but it could be a decent game.

No it was confirmed along with Guitar Hero 4.
Treyarche is making CoD5 (They made CoD3) and are more inclined to 'whore' it out while Infinity Ward (CoD 1, 2 and 4) are more specific. |

Don't be suprised that it sucks. People don't have high expectations, even for the PS3/360. Im waiting for Call of Duty 6, that one will be developed by Infinity Ward and chances are it won't be on the Wii, unless they get treyarch to do a ugly port.

It is coming to the Wii, but the game is going to... uh... suck. The visuals/control scheme/general gameplay will be lame.

I kinda feel bad for Treyarch. Kinda depressing to see a franchise hop back and forth between two developers, and people constantly talking trash on one developer's games, and hyping the other one's, heh.

treyarch tries to cash out and go for every console. it will be good, just not great.. i probably wont buy it, esp since gow2 will be out.
