Here's the deal:

Everyone loves tournaments. They're fun for a bit, but then they end.
Why not do a league? They could never end!
I'm in the middle of planning an online league for Mario Kart with a max of 32 players.
Depending on how many people we get interested, we could work things out in a way that you have to play to make it into the league of 32, or 16, or whatever.

If you guys are interested, feel free to let me know and I can start to flesh things out more.
