So far, I'd go Diddy Kong, he's the less annoying one in term of voice. Bowser is also one on my old favorites.

Baby Peach? Wow, I bet you Nintendo wanted to add more characters but they couldn't create another character so they just created Baby Peach, it was a last resort.

I don't have Mario Kart Wii yet.

My favorite characters, (that I have so far), would be the Miis for 2 reasons:

1: They come in any size.

2: I like to use my creations in the races.

Don't you mean Koopas?

My two favorites right now are Rosalina and Bowser. I haven't played with all of the characters yet, but these are the two that you can win with by using the bike or kart.
My favorite character for the Karts is Waluigi, and my favorite for the bikes is King Boo
