All I care about is that Rock Band wireless controllers work with Guitar Hero.
If you bought a Rock Band guitar you would not need to take wiimotes in and out of a shell.
Also, if it works with GH controllers that is a new batch of songs you can play with your GH controllers.
I doubt I would buy the full Rock Band anyway.

They're not going to be compatible. The Guitar Hero controllers use a Wii remote connected to them. Rock Band guitars have a dongle that connect to the USB port.

That sucks!!!
So you mean I can't use controllers with either game? That ruins it for me!
What about playing Rock Band on your GH controllers? You can do that on Xbox360.

Yeah, that's why the 360 version is better. You know, other than having all the good features that makes rock band good in the first place.

Same thing happened on PS3 though...I don't think you can play Guitar Hero with Rockband controllers or is it Rockband with Guitar Hero controllers. Or did they finally fix that?

Except for one little thing...Digital Rights management sucks on 360. If your system breaks, and trust me it will you lose the license for your hardware and can only use the DLC online. Microsoft used to let you roll a 2nd account to re-download(re-register to your hardware) but now they wont cause they break all the time.
So moral of the story is...your system ever breaks or you get new system...your DLC will only work online when you are logged into live. This is why I will NEVER buy content from MS ever again!

Yes, did you read what I said? If your system breaks and you get a new one...sure you can re-download the content. Problem is it only works online.
If you have ever done this(got a new system and re-downloaded everything) unplug your ethernet cable and see what I mean. It sucks. You can not use any of it offline.
You can on PS3.

You don't understand do you? What if you decide you don't want to pay for high-speed internet anymore? You can't play any of the content anymore.
What if you go to a LAN party? What if you drag your console to a friends house with no internet? What if your internet goes down?
You can't use the content offline!!! It's crappy DRM. Sony's DRM is much better. You can even let your friends use your downloadable games.

Looks like MS changed this. If you send your system into Microsoft, they change the serial-number in your live account and thus when you download your content it will be licensed to your new hardware.
This does not apply if you buy a new system or exchange it at Best Buy/Gamestop etc.
But at least they are working on fixing this annoying issue. Tons of people, myself included, complained to them about it.

but yeah, i want high speed internet forever. everyone i know has it, it's not a problem for me and a lot of other people

ITS NOT ACTIVIONS OR HARMONOX'S FAULT PEOPLE.
you think they would really take out downloadable content? what purpose would this serve? tons of potential money would just be loss, there was obviously limitations of the wii.
online play you say? maybe they dont feel like supporting yet MORE servers for a game on a console that as a considerably low number of online players.

On a side note, I'd just like to voice my anger at game-specific controllers (like the Guitar Hero guitar and Mario Kart wheel) requiring you to put in your remote to use them, while the guitars for the Playstation and XBox have built-in wireless. The irony on top of that is: the Wii version costs more, even though it has less going on inside of it.
It's fricken annoying to have to peel off my silicone skin and rig up a controller inside these things, moving the remote around every time you switch games.
Ok, back to bashing Rock Band...
