Thats not at all how it is on the other systems.
My 360 GH guitar works with BOTH GH & Rock Band. PS3 is probably the same. And NO USB wireless dongle is required to use the 360 Wireless Guitar. It uses the systems built in Wireless feature. Why couldn't the incompetents at Whoremonix have done this for the Wii?
FAIL
They are only out to make $$$ off this version, thats why.
If they cared even a little bit, they would have done some real development work for the Wii version, and not just a crappy port of the worthless ps2 version with just a couple extra songs.
Having them REQUIRE a USB hub just to play the game (& making a mess of wires) is 100x better?
Ummm, In the dictionary I use, thats called
WORSE!
Now, had they done anything in a competent or decent manner, they would have equipped the Guitar (& Mic & Drums) with Bluetooth, just like the Wii-motes. The Wii system would just see 'em as another Wii-mote.
Wait... that would require a brain & some real effort... Whoremonix is incapable of that, as shown by the crappy, worthless ps2 version they are just porting over for the Wii.
FAIL
Hell, Craptivision should have just done that.
Now, they are just OVER charging people the $60 (or $70) for the Wii Guitars, trying to help make up the money they are losing after being forced to re-make the Wii Game in Stereo/Surround.
FAIL
And are you really complaining that you would have to put your wii-mote into a guitar? If they had done it this way, you could have used your (probably) already owned GH:3 Guitar as a 2nd Guitar with Rock Band. Now they are probably going to be FORCING you to buy their special custom wireless guitar (if you want a 2nd guitar player), that will only work with their game.
FAIL
Of course you think this is 100x better, right?
