look at the history of nintendo consoles, most franchises have a new entry come out on each console. i can already predict mario tennis wii, pikmin wii, and star fox wii. [if any arent already announced]

You should as it's very similar to Wipeout, minus the weapons. Guess you can't though as you don't own a Wii.
I always prefered F-Zero as it was easier to see the other racers, in Wipeout everything could look a bit muddy and make me feel like i was racing alone a lot of the time. I liked the one with the exhaust trails though as it made it easier to see the other racers, i think it was Wipeout 2097?
Both games have their own things about them that make them great and different.
I wouldn't compare them any further then the fact they are futuristic racers based upon SPEED~ :-)

Hopefully they make it a decent racer that isn't too casual. I heard about the 30 people online thing as well, hopefully it has a decent number at least.

No is he just trying to say he is not surprised and he doesn't like F-zero. He seems a little tired of nintendo games period. Thats cool with me. Because F-zero rocks and has been a very intense games for a while. It's actually one of the hardest to beat also. Also too F-zero could not come out you know. I just hope they make it very over the top.
To be honest i dont think it will be F-Zero but hell yeah if it comes out on the Wii, my guess is animal crossing as one minute it was annouced and then poop it went dead.
Sovieto is right that it's probably going to happen eventually, it's almost an inevitability. That's a good thing though, I'd hope for all the existing IPs to come to the Wii at some point and some new ones too.
F-zero is certainly at the top of my wish list (along with Star Fox and Pilotwings), i actually even preferred it to Mario Kart on the Snes and N64.
