Ok, so its dissapointing if you can't get online, but all it does is slightly reduces the replay value, theres still pleanty there, time trials(can you unlock all the expert ghosts?) Grand prix(Can you get a star on all, or even 3?). It will still keep you going for ages. Selling it because of that is a bit over the top Imho

I have never had online problems up here in Canada. Not the least bit of lag. Online is great unlike Brawl. MK online is great, even on worldwide matches.

I've been booted out a couple times, but I can usually get right back in. I've had online since Friday, and it's been a blast.
One of the times I was booted out, I was in first and it just ended the race and gave me my points for some reason. I'm not sure what happened there, but there were 11 other racers besides me. I took the points though.
Overall, the online experience has been fabolous. When I got this game, I didn't even plan on going online because I've never done the online thing. After thinking it over, my wife and I decided to give it a shot, and it was well worth it. This is the most gaming fun I've had in awhile. I'm definitely not as good as I thought I was after racing against people online. I am tough against the CPU in offline, but online is a different story. It's much more of a challenge.

Well its not the 90's and its not an older Mario Kart.
Online is obviously a wanted feature this generation and there is no excuse for the Wii to be lacking in it.

I disagree....I think the market is about 60 % Nintendo customer comebacks and about 40% makes up new cuatomers

Your post has actually made me decide to sell my copy of Mario Kart Wii. I'm off to GameStop now. Hmm maybe I'll sell my Wii and pick up an Xbox 360.

I had problems with Mario Kart Online the first day I had it. Then I went to the options section of the game and realized I didn't have my region set on my Nintendo Wii (which Mario Kart let me do right from the options). Once I took care of that.......PROBLEM SOLVED!

But maybe some of us cheapos want them to sell the game so we can get it cheaper!!!
There was a Gamestop sale buy 2 get one 1 free used games. I was gonna pick up Kart & Brawl but there were zero used copies of Kart.
Instead I'll get them both from Circuit City on Sunday when they have their buy 1 get 1/2 price sale. I'll get Kart & Brawl new for $75 this way!
