Mario Kart Wii

I have a quick question regarding the WFC wins and losses in Mario Kart Wii.

When I look at my stats, it has me at: Wins - 177 Losses - 56. Now I know for a fact that I have not played that many VS races. Can someone tell me how wins and losses are calculated?

Each person that you beat counts as 1 win .. .. .. so if you are in a 12 player race and you come 1st that's 11 wins .. .. .. come 5th and that's 7 wins.

On the main menu, in the upper right hand corner, click 'License Settings.' All of your statistics will be displayed in that section. It's a very simple layout to read so you should have no problem finding the right area.
