I, like many people on this forum, was very excited about Mario Kart and the prospect of a fun, competitive, and challenging driving game. Unfortunately, I purchased Excite truck just a week before the Mario Kart release in the US. All I have to say is: Excite Truck KICKS A$$. I mean, that game is unbelievable! The graphics are great, the controls are spot-on, and the intensity is un-matched, and it can be played over and over again without getting boring.
The reason it was "unfortunate" that I found this game before Mario Kart is because it makes Mario Kart feel like bumper cars. ....slow, awkward, imprecise.
NO!!!!!!! I played Excite Truck and I kept crashing. I got bored with the game, beat, and sold it in one week. Mario Kart has online, and many other features such as its custom wheel that make it a great game.

Its not, not in the least. Mario Kart's online alone is better than Excite Truck as a whole, then theres all the other features it has as well. I played Excite Truck though it was alright, nothing like Mario Kart.
I found excite to be one of the best racing games for it. There is numerous things and unlimited possibilities about it! Now i have Mario Kart and i think its 100 times better! the difficulties are harder and unlocking things is challenging! Plus with the online play the possibilities are endless and boredom comes no more!
I liked both. I kind of enjoyed the fact that crashing was part of the game in Excite Truck, since I tend to do that anyway!
Overall, though, I like Mario Kart a lot better. Gameplay is deep and responsive and fun! When I'm not playing it, I can't wait to play it again. This afternoon when I was walking my dogs, I saw a guy riding his MX bike and I was like "Okay dogs, time to go home and play Kart!"
i liked excite truck but no way is it better than mario kart
but i agree mario kart feels like bumber cars BUT only in 50cc
50cc is ridiculous. Ugh. How I dislike it.

Excite Truck is quite a good game in my opinion. Mario Kart is better though mainly because of the online. If Excite Truck 2 has online it'll be awesome.

If you think MKWii is easy, you haven't tried the time trials. They are EXTREMELY difficult to even unlock the expert ghosts, let alone beat the expert ghosts.

Excite Truck's one player is better than Mario Kart but Mario Kart's multiplayer is way better than Excite Truck. If Excite Truck 2 becomes online and better multiplayer then Excite Truck is like the new waverace.
