Mario Kart Wii questions

I have a few possibly simple questions about mario kart wii..

My first question is.. is it possible to play with 2 people from the same connection online and have one of the people not have to be a guest? For instance when we play online, I have my profile but the other person has a guest profile...

Also.. on previous versions of mario kart.. you were able to do grand prix with more than just 1 person.. is that possible as well or are we stuck to just doing the one play for grand prix?

You can play from the same internet connection if you have 2 Wiis and 2 copies of the game

1 player grand prix only .. .. .. but .. .. .. the local multiplayer makes up the numbers with up to 10 AI controlled characters.

You can play 2 player racing over the one SINGLE connection. Me and my mate were playing tonight, me and him as a guest. At the same time. Just goto 2 player.

Can only go 2 though not 4 player over net. 4 player on the one console.

EDIT: Sorry just read the question fully haha. Yeh one player has to be a guest.
