yeah, pit was a major addition to brawl, the only reason they would bring him back is for a sequel. Most every other melee addition was made into a new game, besides mr.G&W

there will most likely be a new kid icarus game, i mean...
why would they give pit a complete makeover like that?
but i don't think it would be from zelda team tho....

Pit was in Brawl because it needed more first party characters.
The game sucked horribly. Try it out on in the demos.
He's a major addition in the fact that he's the most annoying character in Brawl, yeah. He completely re-wrote the dictionary definition of annoying and gay. That's pretty major.

That is an interesting point Sora about the Zelda team ,and Kid Icarus as i could see Kid Icarus being a more run ,and jump hack n' slash oriented action take on the zelda forumla. I mean the Zelda team would know how to make something that is epic.
The other possibilty would be Retro working on it using the ideas they had from Raven Blade. This could of been why all thru out the gamecube we heard about a new kid icarus maybe because retro was reworking Raven Blade to fit in with that.
As far as suspicions about Factor 5 working on it.....i rather see them do the new Star Fox. Let the new Star Fox actually be the rumour titled Star Fox Armada ,and let Factor 5's flight game experince shine through on it.

whether or not you think the game sucks horribly or that pit is a gay character in brawl you cant overlook the fact that pit has become very popular with other people and a new kid icarus game would probably sell.

Yes, he's more popular with little boys. I didn't deny a new Kid Icarus will sell, but it'll still suck, and he'll still be annoying. They should call it:

yeah, pit is pretty gay, its mainly his voice, "THE FIGHT IS ON!" just never gets out of my head. the demo is OK, but seeing as ninty has used up alot of its first party titles so early, they might as well give it a shot. not the zelda team though.

The chances are high indeed, and both Factor 5 and the Zelda team are said to be working on something. I have heard Factor 5 making a new Kid Icarus and the Zelda team working on something else. Meanwhile Retro Studios, the ones who made the Metroid Prime series are rumored to be making a new Zelda..sort of like an FPS.
Its all crazy stuff but Maximo had a good suggestion, and that was let Factor 5 make a new StarFox..that would be sick. Kid Icarus is coming whether you like it or not, so many people have said it will be ready for the holidays but who knows. Plus Pit was in Brawl for a reason, if they wanted other characters they could have added anyone else. The Zelda team could really make Kid Icarus work though..

Wait... Retro is doing LOZ!?! are they going to use a crossbow again or something?
And factor 5 is the one who did rogue squadron right? that would be awesome for them to make a starfox.

At this point, the Wii could use a good game. Even if it's Kid Icarus, the Zelda team can make it great...
