Cheap Nintendo Wiimote Charging Dock!!!

Just bought one of these from the guys at Parts Express. Works great!!! Can't beat the price.

I'd like to get one that fits with the covers on the remotes so I don't have to mess with removing them....have you seen one of those?

Pretty sure that wont be possible since the batts are on the back of the wiimote. I dont think you could ever get around it unless you wanted to cut part of the rubber off...i dont think they'll do that, so you're stuck with taking them off.

I agree with you 100%.....im trying to find a charger that will charge via the port on the bottom of the controller. I hate having to take off the Glove

That would be great, but I'm not sure that peripheral port could work to power the batteries. I'm waiting to see if some company will make a charger that comes with skins 'precut' for the battery connection points...

Maybe I'll try to hole punch my skins for the batteries to make contact. I'll check back in and let you guys know what mods are needed to make it work. Better us to do it than to pay someone $99.99 to do it for us!

I use Icon rechargable batteries. They don't have a dock so they just charge from cables plugged in the usb ports and I cut little square holes in the sleeves where the charging ports are to plug them in. It's not as tidy as a docking station as the remotes are loose but it's a lot less bother.
