A more sweaty Wii Fit, huh? I'm surprised it took this long for someone to announce this sort of game.

Meh, I'm still wondering if the balance board can be put to a more funner use than fitness games.

I can't wait for the balance board to become inundated by garbage shovelware exercise games and for everyone who bought it to cry about it.

It would make a lot of sense for Tony Hawk to come out with a skating game for the board, wouldn't it?
I wish Katamari Damacy would come out for the Wii . . . it seems like the remote would be a natural for rolling around like that, but what if you could choose between using the remote or the board? Wow!
On that note, the next Super Monkey Ball should be controlled by the balance board too. There's already a marble-balancing game included with Wii Fit, so that's a natural.
Not that this would be fun for gamers, but it would make sense for some fitness expert (i.e. Denise Austin, Kathy Smith, etc) to come out with workouts for the board. Seems like a moneymaking opportunity, though I know most people on this forum won't be too thrilled about it!
Ubisoft has a couple of fitness "games" for the DS coming out in the summer: Quick Yoga Training and My Weight Loss Coach. It would be smart if they also had corresponding Wii games that could link up together. Weight Loss Coach logs your food intake, Wii board weighs you, WLC dictates your exercise program, Wii board helps you do it, etc. Same idea for yoga - they work together to keep you on track, at home or on the road.
What if you could use the board like pedals and the remote to steer, and make new racing and flying games? Airplanes are controlled primarily by pedals anyway - then your hands are free to shoot down Nazis.
I just hope they come out with SOMETHING cool! It has a lot of potential!

Flight sim pedals would work, but as for the Skateboarding game, try the Wii Fit skiing and snowboarding first and see what you think. I found it very hard to get around the flag poles at anything like fast and can only do it for short goes at any one time. I'm not fat, but i'm not super fit either.

Oh, I'm pretty sure I'll spend most of the time crashing into walls and falling off the track, cuz that's what I do in pretty much every game (Kart, Super Mario, even the Simpsons). It's a good thing I can do it in games, if I tried skiing and skateboarding in real life I'd be in a full-body cast by now! Maybe that's why I love Endless Ocean so much . . . nothing to fall off of.
Just read in another thread about Skate 2 being developed for the Wii! While I'm 100% certain I will be hopeless at playing it, I'm just happy to see fun games being developed for the balance board!
