The website of We Ski contains some interesting stuff. The screenshots and videos of the slopes look very good.

Anybody else also really excited for this game? This looks like a really fun game similar to Wii Sports. Plus it's compatible with the Balance Board. I'm really curious how this title will turn out.

I'm kind of excited for it. I wouldnt have a balance board for it, though, so I'm not sure if it would be worth it without it.

I want it. I've always liked a good skiing/snowboarding title and Wiifit compatibility is going to make it that much better. Is it going to have on-line play?? I never did see the answer to that one way or the other. It certainly SHOULD.

According to Amazon and UPS, my copy just shipped and should arrive tomorrow morning. I've been really looking forward to this game. I can hardly wait to try it with the balance board, which is still a week or so until release here.

well i think what it is, is that the remote and nunchucks are your um " pushing stick things" and the board are the skis, so you just balance your self with the b-board.

Has anyone found this in store yet? I've checked Target, Walmart, and Toys R Us with no luck. Looking online, Best Buy and Circuit City are backordered, and Gamestop says none are instore within 100 miles of me.

Same with my area (western Virginia). I think they screwed up on the release date (May 13). Maybe they'll release it with Wii Fit? Makes more sense to do it that way.

I just bought it at GameStop for 29.99 plus tax...

Initial impression. It is a easy game to pick up and play. You can use your MII characters but without goggles and hats.

I have about 10 minutes in it on freestyle. Seems to be a winner in my book.

Target, Best Buy, Walmart, Circuit City, etc. will have it in their Sunday sale ad and will not sell it until then. (Target, Bestbuy, and Circuit City will also have Wii's for sale if anyone is still looking for one)

Update: I stopped into Gamestop on a whim just after noon today and they had just unpacked it. Havne't had a chance to play yet as I jsut got home from work and I'm kind of beat.

The balance board, as in the Wii Fit board? How will this game differ from the ski-ing game within Wii Fit? I take it the whole style of play is the same but is just a more complete game.

The board that comes with Wii Fit is called a balance board.

Hard to ay how it is different because we (The US) do not have Wii Fit yet and the UK does not have We Ski (Which I think will be called Family Ski). It is a step in the right direction though with a third party game that is playable with the balance board.

Will let you know next week when the Wii Fit comes out in the US.
