Play MP3s on Wii: In the Picture Channel, start a slideshow with any number of pictures. Press 'A' for the options and change music. If you have any MP3s on your SD-card, they will show there. You can choose to play a lone MP3 or all. But exiting the slideshow will stop the music, sadly.

Wii-Sports, Tennis demo: When you setup the players in the game, make all the players CPU's (click on both of your Mii characters once and get a '?' instead of them). I have seen a 50-100 team against 1300-1500 pro team, but both teams appeared evenly matched against eachother. Some rallys between the teams will be 50 balls or more. At a certain number of balls played in the same rally/service, both sides will start to sweat a lot, as if they are tired because of all the running.

Found a couple of new easter eggs on wii sports:

1) In tennis target practice when you hit the wall it leave a mark, if you hit the same spot a few times it gets darker, after about 10 hits it makes a hole in the wall.

2) In the main wii tennis game if you jump for a high ball that's going out of bounds you can dive into the crowd.

p.s. You need to add r00ntje's tip for playing MP3s on Wii. Going to try this when i get home.

This thread is great but some of the stuff you are adding is pretty retarded, like the spinning the globe one and when the computer sweats in tennis,baseball etc.

Well it's sometimes cool to know.
So heres a few retarded things

1 - In Wii:Tennis if you are both characters on your side (IE your mii) you will earn more ponts than if you we're one MII and other "?"

2 - If you get over 1900 points on any wii:sports game your progress line goes off the chart.

3 - You complete (as such) Wii: Sports by defeating all the grand champions. (Any character with a 2000 point score)



Also this is a saftey precauition for people with LCD, HDTV, PLASMAS

The burn-in reduction (that you download when yor wii updates) does not work with gamecube games. SWITCH OFF THE TV INSTEAD OF PAUSING

Retarded or not, it is all relative to one's own opinion. Hence all 'tips and tricks' should be logged, no matter how silly some might sound.
Though it would help to categorize the tricks into different games or whatever else category.

However, a lot of the above mentioned tricks are also in the manual, but some people fail to put time into it and browse through it, they rather read it all here in the forum.

Change bowling ball color

As The screen is fading to black for bowling, hold down the control pad until it fades to bowling for these colors:

Change the tennis court

To change the tennis court to the blue practice court, press and hold (2) at the warning screen that shows after selecting characters.

Amuse Crowd in Bowling

To make the crowd laugh in bowling, move to either of the gutters in your lane, turn into opposite lane, and bowl so the ball goes over the barier between the lanes. The ball will go into the gutter in the opposite lane and the crowd will laugh.


Scare Crowd in Bowling

To scare the crowd while bowling, start the regular motion for bowling and let go on the backswing. The ball will fly backwards and the crowd will scream and jump.


Secrets
91 Pin Strike in Power Bowling Training

To get an automatic 91 pin strike in the last round of Power Bowling, Throw the ball on the right or left rail (depending on if you are right or left handed) so that it stays on it the whole time. If it reaches the end without falling off, you will hear a "click" and an explosion. Then all the pins will fall down from the shockwave. NOTE: This only works on the last round.

Oops, it worked 6 times in a row, then after I tried that I ejected "Elebits" and it spit it out upsidedown.
All well, would have been cool though. I guess I was just lucky. lol

I was just messing around in the wii menu.

But it seems that you can change the place of your channels.

Grb them with A + B, and move them to the desired space, even on seperate pages! Though you can't move the disc channel.

Nobody confirmed my MP3 playback yet, I suggested it on top of this page. (or previous page if this post will be first on the next page)

Anyway, the manual also says we can send SMS to mobbile phones. But I guess it isn't possible yet. Wish someone found out a trick about that.

There are a few things in the manual that are not posible currently. I'm hoping Nintendo will address these.
