I got one.

I hope mine doesn't end up collecting dust. Main reason I am using it is to help me track my progress. I'm not just going to use Wii Fit to try to get into shape. But I think it'll be a good supplement.

I did play a lot of the games, and had fun with them. But I dont think thats its really a game that a player will get into. If it wasn't for me wanting to get into better shape, I would have never have gotten it. I just wanted to track my BMI and weight. Besides, I have seen bathroom scales almost cost as much as the Wii Fit, so why not buy it right?

I got the first one at Meijer last night at 12:02am. They have 30+ units in the store I went and there were only 5 people in line when they started selling it at 12:01am. There was a $5 coupon for gaming software in the in-store ad through yesterday and it worked even it was expired 2 minutes earlier. In addition, they have $30 coupon for $300 gift card purchase. I finally paid $25 plus tax with two $30 coupons and the $5 coupon.

I am surprised I was able to get one today. Gamestop was the onlyp play that had one and they said they were selling out in a hurry so I had to send someone to go pick it up before they sold out.

Anyways, I can tell you that Target, all 4 walmarts, Best Bu a y, and Circuit City were out of them when I called around noonish today.

Once all the preorders are filled then we will start to get a feel for whether there are enough Wii Fits for the States.

I could see a scenario where they are not hard to find until Christmas time rolls around. There will be a lot of people who will want to start out the new year with an exercise program and wii Fit is a great gift for someone who already has a Wii.

Got mine at 4:30 yesterday at a nearby GameStop. Of the 70 per orders, about 10 said they were going to wait. All 10 of those were gone by morning. The store said they had another 40 requests at the time I stopped by.

Another customer came in the same time I did, she also picked up two boards. Multi-Wii household most likely.

That depends on your definition of 'in shape'. Is it going to give you washboard abs? Nope. Is it able to sculpt? Yup. Yoga is amazing for that, and having studied in studios, the WiiFit routine is exactly the same stuff. Can it improve cardiovascular fitness and facilitate weight loss? Yup.

Running and weights are one way to get fit, but it's not the 'be all, end all'. As a dancer, I'd put my fitness level up against yours any day...well, when I'm back in pre-baby shape that is. Long, lean muscle(which WiiFit can help develop) beats the tar out of bulk muscle(which is what you get from lifting) in almost every aspect. Dancers routinely out perform professional football players in fitness testing.

I haven't got one yet. Probs get round to it at some point.... once I can find them in stock somewhere. Been on my mates and it seems pretty good. Ski-ing was good, although the jump one was tricky for me. I can achieve top speed, but then I just go ass over t*t when I exit the jump.

Jumping isn't hard for me, I was getting in the 100's on the first few tries last night. But I'm horrible at the slalom skiing. I haven't completed a run without penalty yet. Not too good at the soccer thing either. I think the problem is, I'm tilting to the sides, but keeping my center of balance over the middle, so my Mii doesn't move.

Yoga was interesting. I definitely saw differences between the right and left side when doing the one leg balancing thing.

Just barely scratched the surface since I only picked it up last night and played for an hour. Loving it though.

My Wii Fit was delivered on the 21st and I LOVE it! Unfortunately, it said one of my Gentlemen friends was "obese". Not very nice and inaccurate, as he is solid.
Would be nice if they set it up so that we can do this online with family and friends that live far away!

I pre-ordered from Wal Mart, got mine on Wednesday afternoon. Didn't get to hook it up until last night.

I'm a tad overweight. Only 5 pounds. Hubby and I plan to work with it every night. We really like it! My back is sore from the Yoga! I worked up a good sweat in a half hour.

If only it had internet play. When I get mine I wish I could run against someone in a race online. lol.
A little tip for those of you that still don't have a Wii Fit:
The gray sticker next to the price sticker things means they have none in the back of the store.

I cannot wait to get this, but I think it would be cool to have races for the jogging one Like online. or other actual games that involved standing

Got my Wii Fit yesterday. I had standard shipping for my pre-order.

It is definitely fun, but apparently I lack balance.

I got mine delivered on the 21st. I give it an 8 out of 10. I absolutely LOVE yoga and the strength training. But I hate the balance and aerobics. I live on the second floor so jogging is out for me. The people downstairs can hear even if I do it light. The hula hoop is fun but gets boring fast. I had a tough time keeping up with the step aerobics. The soccer heading is dumb. The little guys jogging in place waiting to kick the ball at you are ADORABLE though. I can't stand the tightrope and tilting the balls into the hole. On those I feel like the balance board is not quite wide enough. Plus they seem more kid friendly. My 9 year old nephew prefers the balance games.

But it's worth it just for the yoga and strength training. I think that's more for the adults. How I love it. Those are physically tougher but I enjoyed it alot more then the "fun" games. I'm going to buy a yoga mat because my feet slip on my carpet when I try yoga. I won't be buying the Wii Fit mat though. Target has yoga mats that are much cheaper.

Plus, I am having a blast using the board for We Ski. So all in all Wii Fit was worth my $90.00.
