Despite everyone on the planet talking trash about this game except diehard horror shooter fans, my friend and I enjoyed the hell out of this.

We played co-op all the way through and beat the game in about 8 hours over the course of 2 days or so.

We found the production values to be insanely high. Graphics are crisp, music/sound was AWESOME, and the storyline and script were really movie-like all-around.

Yes, the voice acting is horrible, but we suspect that is intentional.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

i never played this yet....how is the shooting ,and the camera angles i mean is controlling the game as bad as REmake. I couldn't stand the old RE games...to me RE didn't really start till RE4

I'm with you, man. RE 0-3 might be cool for some, but I CANNOT get used to the controls/camera. Is obscure like that? If so, I'll probably get it used for

i wouldn't mind if obscure had the static camera angles as long as the gun control ,and movement were more intutive....

On a sidebar...Did you guys ever notice some games that have the crappiest controls ,and other big problems are still considered great for example GTA (3-SA) ,and RE 0-3. Yet games like ICO, Okami, and etc that may have some hang ups ,but far less hampering than GTA's ,and RE's get no where near as much attention

I will say that yes, the camera in Obscure can be INCREDIBLY irritating.

It follows the wiimote's cursor movement of one player at a time, generally player 1. My friend had no problem controlling the camera and moving/shooting at the same time, but whenever it switched to player 2 camera control, I couldn't multitask as well as he could.

Realistically, there's no better way they could have done it, really. I wouldn't have liked static camera angles.
