The controls worked pretty well, but it was way too arcadey for my liking. The matches were all in the two or three minute range which made it suck as far as I'm concerned. There was a ton of potential, but they dropped the ball on it big time.
I've been playing wrestling games since the early-to-mid 90s, and it was the worst wrestling game I've ever played. I hope this year's for the Wii is much more simulation based. I hope the matches at least last 8-10 minutes on occasion.
The only good thing was that the visuals were pretty impressive.
The rest was crap, the story mode sucked, there was limited match types and weapons and the matches like mentioned above were too short. The controls were good but this thing was way too casualized for my liking. Next one hopefully has improvements in the match types and story mode, one thing we do know about 2009 is you can control the entrances of the wrestlers by doing the movements they would normally do when coming out by waving the Wiimote and Nunchuck.
Yes its like I said the Wii version was crap. They had like 5 different match types and weapons (while the PS3/360 versions had all the matches etc.) and the rest of the game was still bad.

what in the ps3,360 games(besides better graphics) made it better than the wii. Like did they have extra match modes or what?

It was really impossible for me to like the game because of the short matches. I could care less about the match types if the gameplay is good, but it was awful. I didn't play the other versions, but they were received a little better than the Wii version. That being said, I'm not sure they were great either after seeing a lot of opinions.
