I really like playing games with puzzles to solve. For example, I love Zelda games, but I get so frustrated fighting the bosses and such that I stop having fun and start getting so mad I want to break things. So, I stay away from those games as much as I can.

I played Zelda up to a point where I had to keep a carriage from getting attacked while on my horse. Up until that point, I mostly enjoyed the game.

Are they any games with Zelda-like puzzles/tasks to accomplish that have minimal or no fighting?

Zack and Wiki looks very simple and such, but the game is very mind boggling and can have you on a level for hours trying to figure out how to do something. It's a point and click game with some simple motion movements, but it's definitely worth checking out. Also try out Puzzle Quest, it's like Tetris mixed with some RPG formula.

Zack & Wiki is the best puzzle game on Wii. Period.

Lego Indiana Jones has tons of puzzle solving, and it's co-op. I'm really enjoying it. There is lots of fighting, though. Zack & Wiki is also great.

Those are more "pure" puzzle games rather than puzzle-adventure games.
