New Wii Alone in the Dark footage!

The new Alone in the Dark is shaping up to look rather excellent!

Click to watch video - it doesn't look "cut down" much at all, and the motion controls look like they actually make sense!

It seems that what they've had to cut down on were the models, textures, physics, and particles; all of which are understandable. However, if the gameplay and motion controls are done well enough I'll look into getting it over the PC version.

Hopefully there will be enough "stuff" left in that makes it worth playing.

I've got it on preorder so will give it a go when it comes out... (must stop pre-ordering stuff on amazon and just forgetting about it!)

Gives me the Sadness feeling or the feeling of what that could be like. Looks pretty good, I will most likely be renting and not buying this when it comes out though.

Yeah, I think the main thing I was impressed with was how the motions mirrored what you'd do in "real life" - if they can nail that then it will be so immersive and really will be scary to play in the dark

Will be buying this.

However, I am a bit concerned that they are trying to cram too MANY motion controls into the game... They seriously make it look like there are dozens of possible motions that you may need.
