God forbid you actually READ my posts kid.
I applaud anyone who tries to take a new concept and make it fun. And the one I see making the most effort is nintendo.
You may not think a game like cooking mama would be entertaining, but you DO enjoy eating real meals right? (non-microwavable)
And any game that can actually teach you a worthwhile skills whilst also entertaining you is a novel game indeed; take Brain Age for example. It actually stimulates the mind.
Have either sony or microsoft done anything to actually improve gaming as a whole? any radical new innovations? (sixaxis?) any wild new concepts? (XBL...oh wait)
Have either of them done anything to break the cycle of the stereotypical gamer cliche?

sorry but your post ran circles around my head, i couldnt get the clear concept of what you were trying to say. but now i do.
no microsoft and sony havent done radical things that take gaming in new directions, but is anyone who owns their consoles complaining? games like those wouldnt sell on 360 or ps3 because thats not the market, teenage boys, college students, and other sorts of what-have-you men between the ages of 12-30 are the main audience for the 360. theyre happy with a new badass gears of war.
wii has my mom for brain age and my sisters for cooking mama and animal crossing, good for wii, no ones denying nintendo can produce games that push the boundaries, or that their systems can inspire new things not possible elsewhere, but thats not what gamers always want.
