Out of all of them the only ones I'm going to buy are Unreal Championship 3 and the Force Unleashed(depending on reviews and such).
And am I the only one getting sick of all these guitar hero games still coming out? They're all the same, I don't see the need for like 50 different ones.
If you're talking 360 as well, you seemed to have overlooked World of Conflict, Civilization, and Mercenaries 2, which are no doubt going to be highly critically acclaimed games.

Meh, I don't really have much of an interest in those games. I might consider Mercenaries 2 in the future, but I don't need any more GTA style games right now.

Might pick up midnight club if it turns out good, since microsoft doesn't want to make Midtown Madness 4.(bastards!)

World of Conflict was a GOTY conteder last year on the PC. I wouldn't be surprised if Civilization were a conteder this year.

sam and max sounds good. Capcom golf (though kinda weird) could also be very good. And dont forget Rockband/Guitar hero. Sure there is nothing amazing but this could be a solid lineup to give wii some more credibility.

Metroid only just sold a million out of a possible over 20 million however games like Wii Play and Wii Fit are simply dominating it with sales figures. Most of Wii's 'good gamer games' haven't sold to well.
I think some of MP3s poor sales are down to a total lack of advertising, with only the Wii viral campaign it just didnt reach out to enough people. Third parties do little to none advertising and even Nintendo's own adverts seem to highlight the console more than the actual games.

Personally I blame Carnival Games for the casual glut that the Wii received last year. When it unexpectedly sold over a million other developers seemed to think they could all do the same so they just made casual crap. A lot of that crap hasn't sold as well as Carnival Games though so I think 3rd parties are starting to reevaluate their strategys.

lol with the quality of games most developers made just selling 100-150,000 copies is a huge success profit wise.

I don't think MPS's poor sales are due to lack of ads. There were many ads for it actually. Its just the type of add nintendo was dumb enough to use that ruined the sales. They used one of those casual gamer ads which abviously doesnt work with the hardcore crowd(well most atleast).

and i know, you have showed me the sales numbers, and i see mario party 8, carnival games, wii play, wii sports, mario and sonic, and then other games. but its not just the highest selling ones, poor games liek that 20 dollar one that just came out sold 800,000 copies. its not just about the top ones but the poor ones that easily crank 300-500k copies sold. if you made a crappy game and it sells just 200-300k youre successful in profit.

Only reason people bought wiiplay was because of the remote. Mario and sonic was an alright game(just nothing to go crazy about).Mario party 8 had nothing wrong with it besides being too much the same as the past game and having the same graphics as the past games. But I agree that Game party is a really stupid game and sold over 900,000 copies. That one game alone is your evidence, but I think it is enough. I live in a huge gaming community and believe me, when I go to the store to buy games, I can tell that the casual gamer beside me has no idea what game they are going to buy when they go to the store. To my knowledge most casual gamers and some hardcore gamers don't read reviews or research the games they are going to buy. A lot of people go off instinct, which is not a good idea for most.

So your saying time frame has nothing to do with attachment rates? In that case the 360 is getting killed by the NES, SNES, N64, GC, PS1, PS2, Xbox, Sega Genesis, ect. ect. ect.
Any Moron can see Attachment rate and Sales, even the games available all tie into the time on the market. Comparing any console to another using a different time frame is a biased way to look at anything and makes anyone using such an argument nothing more than a fanboy. Did you even find out the attachment rates? Or are you just conviced your right?
Statements such as "the 360 has a longer list of good games" no joke its been out a year longer we are just now getting good games for the Wii and PS3 now. You wanna compare it equally in the same time frame the 360 had just as much slim pikings, if not more, in its first year and a half compared to the other 2 consoles.
Then you go on to list 5 causal games that have sold over a million that I showed you, and forget to mention I dont know the other 20 games that have sold over a million, more than half that are not directed soley at the casual market such as Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, SSBB, TWP, MP3, RE:4, RE:UC, GH3, Super Paper Mario, Red Steel, Lego Star Wars ect. ect.
Then trying to back up your arguments with "that new 20 dollar game that sold 800,000", yet you don't even know the name of it or have any source for the sales numbers.
Lol, you didn't debunk my argument at all, The market is at best split 50/50 and even then its hard to tell which direction the console will go because people only are buying Nintendo titles, because they are for the most part the only quality games on the system besides the rare few 3rd party.
