i need to understand where the mindset that certain games are to young for adults to play.
i feel like im old enough to like whatever i wanna like. if i want to enjoy a DBZ game or Mario game i can, ima grown man, what the buck i look like lettin others dictate what i can/ should like.

pokemon for example, its not a bad game, so whats wrong with playing it.

now its one thing if you watch the cartoon, the movies, collect all the cards and are obseesed with it, thats a different story.

Well technically there is nothing wrong with adults playing games targeted at a younger audience BUT, it is frowned upon and stereotyped as a stupid thing since most people expect others to move on from video games as they grow older.

Yeah, most adults who play video games are looked at as inmature. I don't think there is anything wrong with enjoying video games as an adult as long as you don't put video games in front of more important things finacialy and time wise. Like if you are in debt because you bought a ps3 and a huge tv or you ignore your kids to play video games. Don't let anyone tell you that you are too old to have fun.

I thought that was a bit out of line too... This is a forum for all ages. Anyway, I think adults gaming isn't a problem, unless they live with there mothers.

nothing wrong with playing video games. it keeps the mind active and it is shown that keeping the mind active can help prevent things like dementia later on.
