8-Bit's old school, first type of games. It hold near and dear nostalgia to some people. Not too much myself, I was probably born when a lot of stuff came out, but I grew up on atari, then nes, snes, ect, so I didd appreciate the consoles. (I'm 19)

The answer ultimately is = Nostalgia

Nostalgia = back when graphics didn't matter, and the game was fun purely because it was a good game.
My all time favorite game is still Super Mario Bros. 3 (well, maybe 2nd favorite...)

Same here dude. Mario Bros 3 and Link to the past were my all times. Of course, OOT and some other classic nintendo games are my favorites easy.

I was born through the 16 bit era. To me that is old school. I agree that they were pure fun.

Exactly! Which is why this has me all excited. Yeah, I would have liked a full release with hand-drawn backgrounds or something like the gorgeous ones coming up in Wario Land, but I will definitely buy this!

Sovieto, why would it necessarily be coming to Xbox also?

cause it is 8 bit. No point using a whole disc for it. They could have easily gave it better graphics but I guess they thought the fans wouldnt care either way.

Capcom talked about why its perfect for wiiware~ go search for the article.

No one is going to pay $30-$50 for an NES game on a Disc for Wii mind you in this day and age. It's just not justifiable. Wiiware is the perfect place for it. And it's cheaper to develop for.

I bought the Gamecube Megaman Anniverssary collection new off Ebay the other day for $14. I can't wait to play it cause I only ever played 1-3! I may get the X RPG and X Collection also!
