What do you think is the most annoying item in the Mario Kart series?

One that hits you all the time, or one that you just HATE?


I really find the POW block (from Mario Kart Wii) and the Bowser Shell really annoying, since I usually get them all the time, especially the POW block because that keeps on stopping me. If I find a way to avoid that block, that'd be awesome.
Bowser Shell is annoying too because if you're doing really well suddenly a bowser shell comes up and it's like OMG OMG I'M COMING FIRST!!!!!!!!! And then you get hit by the shell, lol.

Red shells and other items are easy to avoid, though.

To not get stopped by the pow block: shake the wiimote when it hits. It will make you spin and drop items, but you wont get slowed down

its tough to decide which ones the worst, they all suck. maybe the green shell, because they always seem to hit me no matter what. it is really annoying to hear one bouncing around behind you, only to either blow you up from behind, or bounce off a wall in front of you and somehow manage to blow your face off. even the ones i shoot come back to get me. and i also seem to be getting the gay lighting cloud at least twice EVERY RACE. i just think there needs to be an option to turn items of and let the winner be decided by skill, not pure luck.

The most annoying thing ? The whole game. Its shite. Imagine if this had been released without the history, as a brand new game ..who would have bought into it ? Not many i would think.

Face it, those things that annoy ruin the game, practise and skill has no reward and online hacking is getting rife. Im torn between selling my game and just binning it so no-one else has to go through this shite.

Can anyone, even the biggest fanboy imagine playing this game in a years time ? It's nothing like its predecessors. It has no longevity and thats what annoys me most.
